Star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has gracefully hit back at legendary Kapil Dev for calling the current crop of Indian cricketers arrogant. In a recent interview, the former captain had claimed that Indian cricketers were arrogant these days because of their high income through the IPL.
Kapil also complained that unlike former Indian cricketers, the players in the current team do not approach retired cricketers like Sunil Gavaskar when they are out of form and need some technical suggestions.

Jadeja, who is gearing up for the third and final ODI against West Indies on Tuesday, August 1, said everyone was eligible to give their opinion but at the same time quashed Kapil Dev's opinion by saying that no player in the team takes playing for India lightly.
"I didn't know when he said this. I don't search too many things on social media. Everyone has their own opinion. It's nothing like that. Everybody is enjoying their game and working hard. Players are not taking their place in the team for granted. Whenever they are getting chances, they are giving their 100 percent and trying to win games for India," Jadeja said when he was asked about Kapil's remarks during a press conference.
"Such questions crop up when India loses a game. Nobody is arrogant. Everybody is representing India. We are working hard and playing for the country. There is no personal agenda," Jadeja added.
India are eyeing a win in the final ODI to win the three-match series 2-1. Earlier, they defeated West Indies 1-0 in the 2-match Test series. A 5-match T20I series will follow from Thursday, August 3.
