Ravindra Jadeja reunites with three CSK teammates at NCA, makes bold comment ahead of MS Dhoni's last IPL season

Ravindra Jadeja is gearing up for the 5-Test series against England starting January 25, however, he has got his eyes set on the sixth IPL trophy for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Jadeja, who starred in the IPL 2023 and hit a last-ball boundary to hand CSK their fifth title, shared a picture with his CSK teammates on Saturday. The picture has been taken at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, and features Ruturaj Gaikwad, Deepak Chahar and CSK's new recruit Shardul Thakur standing alongside Jadeja.

"6th one loading," Ravindra Jadeja has captioned the picture ahead of IPL 2024 which will be CSK captain MS Dhoni's last season as an active player. Jadeja was rested for the 3-T20I series against Afghanistan and is now gearing up for the first Test match against England in Hyderabad.

Ruturaj Gaikwad is spending his time at the NCA after injuring his finger during the ODI series against South Africa. The injury ruled him out of the South Africa Tests and Afghanistan T20Is.

Deepak Chahar missed out on the fifth T20I against Australia due to personal reasons. He later did not travel to South Africa for the same reason. The all-rounder is eyeing a spot in India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad, and looking for a solid IPL 2024 campaign.

Shardul Thakur has been left out of the India squad for the first two Tests against England. He leaked 101 runs in 19 overs in the first Test against South Africa in SuperSport Park in Centurion. Shardul Thakur was bought by CSK for Rs 4 crore in the IPL 2024 auction.
