IPL 2025 Schedule: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will open their Indian Premier League Season 18 - IPL 2025 campaign on the opening day of the tournament away to the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday, March 22.
RCB, who will be captained by Rajat Patidar this season, have been drawn in the same group as southern rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK), KKR, Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), meaning the Bengaluru-based side will face these teams and a team parallelly seeded from the other group twice in the league phase.

This will mean that RCB will lock horns with Delhi Capitals twice, and the remaining teams - Mumbai Indians (MI), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Gujarat Titans (GT) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) once in the round-robin stage.
In the second fixture on RCB's calendar, Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni will cross paths at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Friday (March 28). The Royal Challengers will play their first home match on April 2nd against Gujarat Titans.
RCB will later host the likes of Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, CSK, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders in their other six home matches at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
On their away days, RCB will travel to Chennai, Lucknow, Delhi, Mullanpur, Jaipur, Mumbai and Kolkata. Kohli and Rohit Sharma will lock horns on April 7th at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Of the 14 league stage matches, RCB will play twelve night matches.
Meanwhile, the Bengaluru-based side, who host a Go Green match every season, will play only two afternoon matches, and both those contests will be away from home - in Jaipur and Mullanpur. So, RCB green jersey match could be in one of these venues. Here is a look at RCB IPL 2025 Schedule:
