The IPL 2025 has announced a rescheduling for the remainder of the tournament after its brief hiatus due to India-Pakistan border tensions.
The conflict and security issue prompted BCCI to postpone the tournament for a week, but following the ceasefire, the tournament is set to resume.

As per BCCI announcement, the final phase will start on May 17, with a match between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
RCB have been amazing so far in the IPL 2025, currently sitting 2nd in the points table with 16 points in 11 matches. Under the leadership of captain Rajat Patidar and head coach Andy Flower, RCB has secured 8 victories out of 11 matches, positioning them second on the points table with a 98.2% probability of qualifying for the playoffs.
RCB achieved a significant milestone by defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Chepauk for the first time in 17 years. This victory was marked by Romario Shepherd's explosive 53* off 14 balls and Yash Dayal's exceptional death-over bowling, defending 16 runs in the final over.
Incidentally, RCB will have no change to their venues. Although the dates are different apart the KKR match, Virat Kohli and company will play their matches at the original venues.

Leading the team's batting charts is Virat Kohli with 248 runs, including six half-centuries, and maintaining a strike rate of 143.35. Phil Salt has contributed significantly with 208 runs at an impressive strike rate of 185.71, including two half-centuries. Before his injury, captain Rajat Patidar amassed 186 runs at a strike rate of 161.73.
