RCB IPL 2025 Full Squad & Auction Buys: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have formulated a strong squad at the IPL 2025 mega auction, roping in 19 players from the two-day event in Jeddah.
RCB came into the auction with the second-biggest purse in the IPL auction and made some important acquisitions. Phil Salt was a big buy on the first day for Rs 11.50 crore, but Josh Hazlewood at Rs 12.50 crore is their biggest acquisition in the auction.

Virat Kohli continues to be the cornerstone of the franchise as they gear up for IPL 2025. Coming off a phenomenal IPL 2024 campaign where he clinched the Orange Cap with a staggering 741 runs, Kohli's retention was an obvious decision for RCB. His experience, consistency, and passion remain integral to the team's ambitions of winning their maiden IPL title.
Rajat Patidar, who has been a reliable performer in the middle order, was another key retention for the franchise. Known for his ability to stabilize innings and play impactful knocks under pressure, Patidar's presence ensures RCB retains balance in their batting lineup. Additionally, uncapped Indian pacer Yash Dayal, who has shown glimpses of potential in domestic cricket, was the third retention.
