Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Yash Dayal has been accused of mental, physical, and financial exploitation by a woman from Uttar Pradesh, with a formal FIR registered and the matter escalating to the Chief Minister's Office.
According to the complaint, the woman alleged that she was in a five-year relationship with Dayal and had been introduced to his family. She claims that over the course of the relationship, the cricketer manipulated and exploited her, not just emotionally and physically, but also financially. Matters worsened when she confronted him about his intentions, which allegedly led to her being physically assaulted.

The FIR further mentions that the victim later discovered Dayal was simultaneously involved in similar deceitful relationships with multiple women. On June 14, 2025, she dialled Women's Helpline 181, but the case did not advance at the local police station level.
Feeling cornered and lacking financial or social support, the woman took her plea to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's office, seeking urgent intervention. The complaint reportedly includes screenshots, chats, and video calls that the victim claims will substantiate the allegations.
She has requested expedited legal proceedings and strong punitive action against Dayal, urging authorities to treat the matter with the seriousness it deserves.
Dayal, who played for RCB in the IPL 2025, has been making a name as a top left-arm pacer. He has also been tipped for an India selection in coming months but the recent developments may jeopardize his career.
In a related incident from the Caribbean, an unnamed West Indies cricketer has been accused of sexual harassment by 11 women, including a young woman from Guyana who alleged an assault took place in 2023. The victim's family has reportedly stated that attempts are being made to suppress the complaint. Various social media reports have claimed the player to be someone who is part of the current West Indies team.
