“RCB’s Settled Core Key to Dominance”: Sanjay Bangar & Saba Karim Hail Patidar’s Captaincy As RCB Win Back-to-Back IPL Titles
Royal Challengers Bengaluru defended their TATA IPL title and sealed a second straight championship, capping another strong season. On JioHotstar's 'Google Search AI Mode Match Centre Live' and Star Sports' 'Amul Cricket Live', players and JioStar experts praised RCB's settled core and also assessed runners-up Gujarat Titans.
Speaking on 'Google Search AI Mode Match Centre Live', RCB all-rounder Krunal Pandya said trophies still drive him. He called tournament wins more special than single matches. He has now claimed five TATA IPL titles in eleven years and felt grateful for chances and team success.

On the same JioHotstar show, pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar discussed his senior role in RCB's attack. He said personal form helps him guide others. He praised young bowlers Rasikh and Yash Dayal, and highlighted learning from Josh Hazlewood and the coaching staff as a key factor.
Bangar reflects on repeated success of RCB in franchise cricket
On Star Sports' 'Amul Cricket Live', JioStar expert Sanjay Bangar said RCB always seemed close to such impact but had waited long. He felt their experienced squad now resembles an international team. According to him, repeated success built extra confidence and could bring more titles this decade.
Bangar added that once RCB found players who complemented each other, results improved. Many had already handled global pressure. He said that temperament helped in tense playoff and final moments. He also stressed that stable combinations allowed the group to stay calm during key spells.
Anil Kumble highlights Gujarat Titans' mixed campaign
JioStar expert Anil Kumble said Gujarat Titans recovered well after two early losses. Their top order gave steady starts, and the bowling unit carried good experience. However, he felt the middle order struggled when the top three fell early, which also hurt them during the TATA IPL final.
Kumble said rival teams targeted Gujarat's top order. Once early wickets fell, the Titans rarely recovered. He believed that pattern continued in the title match. He expects GT to address that fragile middle order before the next season to better support their strong opening group.
Saba Karim praises Rajat Patidar's captaincy clarity
On 'Amul Cricket Live', JioStar expert Saba Karim credited captain Rajat Patidar for giving RCB clear roles. Patidar entered as a replacement player and later became skipper, without international exposure. Karim said Patidar still earned respect in a dressing room that includes Virat Kohli and other stars.
Karim said Patidar helped shape a strong bowling unit and leads with clear plans. He drew parallels with MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma, who also guided teams to back-to-back titles. According to Karim, Patidar's calm style and steady performances have been central to RCB's two-year title run.
