"It is very unfortunate. This is a negative side of popularity. People are crazy for their cricketers. The organisers should have planned it better. My deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. I wish early recovery of the injured," said Saikia in a statement to PTI.
He emphasized the importance of anticipating large crowds for events of such magnitude and ensuring all safety protocols are in place.
Anil Kumble has reacted on social media after the Stampede incident at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The current reports are stating more than 50 people injured, with many of them serious. An afternoon which was supposed to be celebratory, has turned into utter chaos, loss of lives and calamitous, to say the least.
BCCI vice-president and Congress MP Rajeev Shukla says, "This can happen in any state and the ruling party should not be blamed for it. It should not be politicised. If this happens in a BJP-ruled state, we should not blame them. The crowd was huge, I spoke to the franchise, they also did not think that such a huge crowd would come and this incident happened suddenly. Efforts are being made to provide maximum help to the families of the deceased."

"RCB wanted an open-bus parade, but CM and I, citing law & order and player safety, didn't permit it. Youth passion isn't wrong, but let's stay cautious. Even a minor mishap can make headlines. Let's show respect, not chaos," says Karnataka deputy CM DK Shivakumar.

People of this city and RCB fans who have supported RCB through thick and thin. I have never seen any fanbase like you guys," Virat Kohli says.
'Firstly, I wanna say that,' Virat stops as the Chinnaswamy is roaring.

Amid all the Celebrations, This is a harsh reality. Kids, Humans have lost lives after coming to celebrate their team's victory. This is utterly disappointing and angering. The conditions and security measures must have been a lot better than it was. Who is culpable for these lives which have lost?

Batting first, RCB posted a total of 190/9 in 20 overs, with Virat Kohli contributing 43 runs off 35 balls. Punjab Kings, in response, managed 184/7 in their 20 overs, with Shashank Singh remaining unbeaten on 61 runs.
