RCB vs CSK Playing 11: The IPL 2025 is set for the Southern Derby at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday (May 3) as Royal Challengers Bengaluru are set to face Chennai Super Kings.
With the IPL 2025 playoff hopes done and dusted, CSK will be aiming to finish their season with some victories. On the other hand, RCB are bolstering ahead in the playoffs and a victory can take them to the top of the table.

Phil Salt, who sat out the previous fixture against Delhi due to fever, is still uncertain for the upcoming game. If the Englishman is unable to play, RCB will have to resort to the opening pair of Virat Kohli and Jacob Bethell again.
Although Devdutt Padikkal mentioned that Salt has been in constant contact with the medical staff and could return soon, his participation on Saturday is unclear. They are likely to keep their same team which played in the win against Delhi Capitals.
Chennai Super Kings have no such injuries in their side but they are likely to make a couple of changes to their sides. With the playoffs hopes now gone, CSK may look to tweak their team and give some fringe players opportunities. Their mid-season signings Dewald Brevis and Ayush Mhatre both are likely to play, while MS Dhoni is expected to lead the team as well.
Dhoni raised retirement speculations with a cheeky comment in the last match but the veteran is set to lead the Super Kings in Bengaluru territory yet again. Will it be his last? Only time will tell.
