RCB vs DC Playing 11: Royal Challengers Bengaluru return home as they lock horns against Delhi Capitals in an important IPL 2025 match on Thursday (April 10).
After three wins in four matches, RCB remain 3rd in the table and are looking extremely dangerous early on in the season. Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, are the only unbeaten team this season and sit 2nd with three wins out of their first three encounters.

Historically, RCB has had the upper hand against DC. As of April 2025, the two teams have faced each other 31 times in the IPL, with RCB winning 18 matches and DC securing 11 victories. At the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB has won 7 out of 12 encounters against DC.
RCB boast a dynamic top order, anchored by the ever-reliable Virat Kohli and the attacking flair of Devdutt Padikkal. Rajat Patidar, leading the side, provides middle-order steel alongside the explosive Liam Livingstone. Their bowling unit is shaped around the pace duo of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood, with Krunal Pandya offering control in the middle overs.
They have no such injury issue and will be hoping to field a strong team. The Bengaluru side lost their solitary home match this season and the onus will be to make Chinnaswamy their fortress, which shall ease their road for the playoff race.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is expected to feature in this match. The India veteran has played three matches so far and has 3 wickets to his name.
DC's strategy is built around experience and emerging flair. Faf du Plessis and Jake Fraser-McGurk provide a strong foundation, while KL Rahul's presence has added stability in the middle order. Axar Patel is leading a unit packed with multi-dimensional players.
Mitchell Starc and Kuldeep Yadav form a potent bowling core, capable of disrupting any batting unit on their day. As they are taking the field after a four day gap, it will be important for them to do the basics right and continue the positive momentum.
Du Plessis missed out the last match for DC due to illness but looks set to return to face the team he led last season.
