Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Giants (GG) will lock horns in the fifth match of Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 on Tuesday (February 27) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

RCB led by Smriti Mandhana head into the match on the back of a thrilling 2-run victory over UP Warriorz in their tournament opener, while Beth Mooney's Gujarat Giants are fresh from a 5-wicket loss to table-toppers Mumbai Indians.

RCB rode on fifties from Richa Ghosh and S Meghana to set a total of 157/6 in their allotted 20 overs before Asha Shobana's five-wicket haul restricted the UP Warriorz to 155/7.

GG, on the other hand, were restricted to 126/9 in 20 overs thanks to Amelia Kerr's four-wicket effort and Shabnim Ismail's three wicket haul before Harmanpreet Kaur and Kerr saw MI home with 11 balls to spare
