Bengaluru, May 20: In a crucial encounter that will affect the playoff race, Royal Challengers Bangalore host defending champions Gujarat Titans in match 70 of IPL 2023 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on double-header Sunday (May 21).
While Faf Du Plessis’s RCB will look to seal a playoff spot, Hardik Pandya-led table-toppers GT will look to carry on the momentum heading into the knockout stages of the tournament.
RCB, who are in fourth position as it stands, have a chance to seal a spot in the second spot, should they win and other results on Saturday (May 20) go in their favour, while GT will look to extend their winning run heading into the business end of the tournament.
RCB and GT will meet for the first time this season. The two sides, however, have met in the previous, but have never clashed at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
