Virat Kohli suffered a finger injury in the ongoing IPL 2025 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) on Wednesday (April 2).
The India star was hit by a ferocious shot off Sai Sudharsan while fielding and was visibly in pain.

Sai Sudharsan pulled a short ball of Krunal Pandya in the 12th over of the match. Virat Kohli, who was fielding at deep mid wicket, got struck on his right hand finger while attempting to field. The ball went for a boundary and Virat was seen down on the knees, holding his right hand. The India and RCB stalwart was visibly in pain and was treated by the RCB medical staff.
Virat Kohli had a string blow to his hand but the good thing is that he remained on the field. After the usage of the magic spray, Kohli is still on the field and looks alright. Nevertheless, these kinds of injuries can take bit of time to aggravate and the next 12-24 hours will be crucial for the RCB star. Kohli may also have to undergo some tests if there is a swelling, but if there isn't, he will be alright to feature in the next match for the Bengaluru outfit.
Earlier, Kohli scored 7 runs off 6 balls and got dismissed cheaply. The India stalwart has scored 97 runs so far in the ongoing season and has one fifty to his name, which came in the very first match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
