It promises to be an intriguing final league match of the IPL 2023 season as Royal Challengers Bangalore eye to lock playoff status when they meet Gujarat Titans on Sunday (May 21).

The ever-crucial match will be played at RCB's M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, and they need a victory to make it to the last four. Gujarat Titans have already qualified for the playoffs and are ranked at the top of the IPL table this season.

RCB Team News vs GT: RCB registered a thumping victory over SRH in the last match, which has eased their playoff scenario. A win will be enough for them courtesy of their already superior NRR.

They have no injury issues before the final game and we expect the same team to play in the match against Gujarat Titans. It has to be seen whether they keep Shahbaz Ahmed in the team though, whose return to the side was underwhelming in the last match. Wanindu Hasaranga can also come back to the team replacing Michael Bracewell.

GT Team News vs RCB: It is a free strike for GT as they look to see off the final game before the Qualifier 1 match. It is to be seen if the defending champions give some of their fringe players a chance, or continue with their strongest team.

It can be a conundrum for them but there can be some changes in the team. Talented pacer Shivam Mavi may come in to replace Yash Dayal, whereas they will be tempted to give Odean Smith a game as well. Wriddhiman Saha also deserves a rest and we may see KS Bharat get his first match of the season.
