RCB vs KKR IPL 2024: Four Batters Who Can Score Most Runs in Match 10

RCB vs KKR: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the tenth game of IPL 2024. The game will get underway at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on March 29, Friday at 7:30 PM (IST).

RCB lost their first game against CSK but made a stellar comeback against PBKS to open their account this season. On the other end of the spectrum, KKR started their campaign with a narrow four-run win over SRH. The two-time IPL champions have a better head-to-head record against RCB as they won 18 games.

RCB won 14 games against KKR so far in the tournament and it remains to be seen which team will come out on top in the upcoming clash. The short boundaries make the Chinnaswamy track a paradise for the batters. As a result, we can expect a run-fest and let's now take a glimpse at the four batsmen who can muster the most runs in the 10th game.

1. Virat Kohli: Former RCB captain Virat Kohli performed superbly well in the last game against PBKS wherein he scored 77 off 49 balls, laced with 11 fours and 2 sixes to his name. Rightly so, he was adjudged the Man of the Match for his defining knock. The senior pro is very much aware of the fact that he will have to face Sunil Narine who has dismissed him four times in T20s. If he braves this challenge, he is destined to score plenty of runs against KKR.

2. Shreyas Iyer: KKR captain Shreyas Iyer was dismissed for a duck against SRH in the last game. After a disappointing start this season, he will be looking forward to making a telling impact with the bat on a track that is favorable for batters. Iyer scored his maiden ODI World Cup century against the Netherlands at M Chinnaswamy Stadium during the World Cup 2023.

3. Cameron Green: The Australian prospect was traded to RCB from MI as part of an all-cash deal ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. The 24-year-old failed to make his presence count in his first two games for RCB, scoring 18 against CSK and 3 against PBKS. After twin failures, the Perth-born cricketer will be eyeing to make a solid statement with the bat in the upcoming clash against KKR. Overall, he has amassed 473 runs in 18 games at an average of 43, including 1 century and 2 fifties.

4. Andre Russell: The West Indies international will be licking his lips to showcasing his mettle at the Chinnaswamy. He is certainly one of the players to watch out for in the game. In the previous game against SRH at Eden Gardens, he unleashed his fury by scoring an unbeaten 64 off 25 balls, laced with 3 fours and 7 hits over the fence at a sensational strike rate of 256. Rightly so, he was adjudged the Man of the Match.
