RCB vs PBKS IPL 2024 Match 6: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the sixth match of the Indian Premier League season 17 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday, March 25.
Faf Du Plessis-led RCB will be desperate for a winning start at their home venue, having lost their campaign opener by 6 wickets to Chennai Super Kings. But they will be up against a team that won their first match of the season.

Shikhar Dhawan’s PBKS will look to carry on their winning momentum from the 4-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals at their new home in Mullanpur – Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium.
Form aside PBKS also holds a decent record against RCB, but this will their first outing at the Bengaluru venue since the 2019 season with their last win coming here back in 2017. RCB also had a poor record at their home venue, winning just three of seven matches last season.
Now, ahead of the RCB vs PBKS IPL 2024 Match 6, here we take a look at the pitch report, weather forecast, telecast and live streaming details of the encounter in Bengaluru:
The pitches at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium has often produced run feasts in IPL, but since the new drainage system, there have been times when games have ended in low-scoring matches. In the recent WPL season also there was a mixture of high-scoring and low-scoring contests.
Last season, we saw near 200 totals being scored often, including in run chases. The venue also saw the team batting first find more success as opposed to what history suggests for teams chasing winning most times.
In the WPL earlier this month, we saw the teams chasing win on most occasions with average score of 133. The pattern may continue, but we may see scores past 170 scored during the IPL at the Bengaluru venue.
There is forecast for a sunny day turning partly cloudy in the evening with clear skies expected in the night. Temperatures are expected to be 30-34 degrees Celsius during the day, but is expected to go down to 27 degrees Celsius at the closing stages of the match.
Although it’s expected to be partly cloudy, there is no chance of rain playing spoilsport in RCB’s first home game of the season against Punjab Kings at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
