Virat Kohli has created a new record amid the IPL 2025 final against Punjab Kings on Tuesday (June 3).
In the climactic IPL 2025 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are up against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in a bid for their maiden IPL title.

Opting to bat first after losing the toss, RCB posted a total of 190/9 in their allotted 20 overs. The innings saw early setbacks with key wickets falling quickly, placing the onus on Virat Kohli to anchor the innings. Kohli contributed a measured 43 runs off 35 balls before being dismissed by Azmatullah Omarzai, a performance that drew mixed reactions from fans and critics alike.
