Virat Kohli was in tears as Royal Challengers Bengaluru have won their maiden IPL title after beating Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 final on Tuesday (June 3).
Kohli, who has been with RCB forever, has won his first IPL title, and the India legend couldn't hold his emotions.

As soon as Punjab were required 29 off 4 deliveries, Virat Kohli was in tears at the boundary. His wife Anushka Sharma also had a stunned look in her face at the stands.
After the match concluded, Kohli was down in his knees and crying, with teammates surrounding him. He also had a moment with former RCB player AB de Villiers, who was out at the boundary as a part of the commentating team.
Kohli then shared a special moment with his wife Anushka Sharma as well. The duo shared a warm hug and Kohli was again in tears as he went towards his life partner. The RCB legend was also emotional while speaking with Matthew Hayden after the game.
"This win is as much for the fans as it is for team. Its been 18 kong years. I have given my youth, prime and experience, and I have tried to win every time. To finally have this moment come it is unbelievable. This means so much to me, given each and every ounce of my energy to this team. I never thought this day will come," said Virat Kohli.
"It's right up there. I have stayed loyal to this team, no matter what. I had moments where I thought otherwise, but I stuck to this team. They stood behind me. I always wanted to win it with them. This is far more special than winning with any other team because my heart is with Bangalore, my soul is with Bangalore," Kohli added again.
