Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will aim for their first home win of the season when they host lowly Rajasthan Royals (RR) in match 42 of IPL 2025 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday (April 24).
Rajat Patidar’s RCB, who are win-less in three outings at home, head into the match on the back of their fifth away victory of the campaign, having defeated Punjab Kings by 7 wickets in the run chase of 158 at the New PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh.

Riyan Parag’s RR, on the other hand, suffered their fourth successive loss and sixth overall this season, having capitulated with the bat for the second match in the row with the latest being a 2-run defeat to Lucknow Super Giants at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaiupur.
RR led by Parag in the absence of regular captain Sanju Samson will not only look to end a losing streak to stay alive in the playoff race, the inaugural champions will also look to avenge the reverse fixture loss to RCB when they face them in Bengaluru.
