Royal Challengers Bengaluru are set to host Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2025 today (Thursday, April 24) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Although it has been a better season for RCB, the contrast of their home and away form is staggering so far.

RCB have registered five victories in this season, all coming in the away matches for them. On the other hand, the three home matches for them have ended in defeats. As they take on Rajasthan Royals, the players will have the onus to end the losing streak at home and further cement their chances for the playoffs.
Rajat Patidar has led RCB superbly this season so far, and RCB star Jitesh Sharma heaped praises on his captain. Taking over the reins this year, the Madhya Pradesh player has led his troops brilliantly, and Jitesh opened up on Rajat as a person, who has a calm persona.
"Rajat is a very simple person. He's easy to talk to-you wouldn't even notice him in the dressing room. It's only when we step on the field that you realize he's the captain. That's just his personality- calm and composed under pressure. He can assess situations from multiple angles," Jitesh said to Star Sports.
Along with that, Jitesh also believes the biggest challenge for Rajat Patidar is to secure their first victory at home today, which has so far eluded them.
"There's still one big challenge in front of him- securing our first win at Chinnaswamy this season. But the belief in the camp is strong," he added.
The India player also opened up on Dinesh Karthik's influence. The former India player has been an instrumental figure at RCB this season and Jitesh says Karthik has evolved his mindset and relishes to continue improving under his guidance.
"DK has pulled me out of my comfort zone and into a new space I haven't been in before. I've always had certain shots in my arsenal, but I didn't believe in them. DK told me to use my natural hand movement and encouraged me to try. They picked me for those abilities, so they saw something. DK saw something, and that's how things are evolving now. This is just the beginning," the RCB player added.
