RCB vs SRH IPL 2024: Faf du Plessis' Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on Pat Cummins' Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 30 of the IPL 2024 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday (April 15).
RCB are the bottom-ranked team in the 10-team IPL 2024 points table. They have lost five of their six matches so far in the tournament. They have lost their last two home matches, and four consecutive matches overall on the trot. They suffered a seven-wicket defeat against Mumbai Indians in their last match.

SRH, on the other hand, are the fourth-ranked team after Lucknow Super Giants' (LSG) defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Sunday. They have won three of their five games. Hyderabad have won their last two games. Their last match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) saw them register a thrilling 2-run win. They managed to defend 182.
"Pitch number 7 which was used for the first game against Punjab Kings - 175 was the score. Average first innings score over here in the last few years has gone up to 196. What I have seen straightaway on this pitch is that it's very dry. I think there will be spin, especially for Glenn Maxwell," Murali Kartik and Graeme Swann have reckoned ahead of the RCB vs LSG match.
"We saw the other night (RCB vs PBKS), Glenn Maxwell was getting turn. Both spinners for RCB were getting turn - the left-armer and the off-spinner. This pitch is very dry. It's the highest turning ground on average this year in the IPL. This area outside the off-stump for the right-handed batsmen, this is the sort of area that Maxwell will be looking to pitch the ball.
"It's almost like a riverbed, very dry, a lot of these cracks don't move but right next to these cracks, there's a little bit of grass as well. The ball will behave differently whether it pitches on the brown bit or the green. It may be slightly two-paced. The odd ball turns, the odd ball goes straight. A very good pitch for bowling spin," they added.
Maxwell picked two wickets for RCB in the match, while pacers picked three. RCB were bundled out for 153 while chasing 182. Only one RCB wicket fell to spin as LSG pacers wreaked havoc. The chasing team won in the previous two matches here in IPL 2024.
Average score in the last five T20s at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is 187. All the teams opted to bowl first during the period, and won 47.06 percent of the time.
No chances of rain in Bengaluru on Monday, April 15. With a humidity level of 56 percent, the temperature will hover around 27 degree celsius. The wind speed at the venue will be 10 km/h.
