Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant has praised the efforts and determination of Purani Dilli 6, applauding the team's performance in the ongoing Delhi Premier League (DPL) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Despite Purani Dilli 6's journey coming to an abrupt end after their second semi-final against South Delhi Superstarz was washed out due to rain, Pant expressed his admiration for his team. According to the tournament's rules, the team with the higher points table position advances to the final.

South Delhi Superstarz, who secured second place in the standings, moved on to the final, while Purani Dilli 6, finishing third with 10 points, were eliminated from the competition on Saturday.
Pant, who has been keeping a close watch on the team's progress, shared his thoughts on the team's future. He expressed confidence that they would return stronger in the next season.
"I've been closely following the team's journey and admire the dedication, hard work, and resilience the boys have shown to reach this point. It's unfortunate that rain halted our progress, but I'm incredibly proud of every player. We've created something special this season, and I'm confident we'll come back stronger next year, aiming for the title," said Rishabh Pant.
Meanwhile, veteran Indian pacer Ishant Sharma also praised the team's commitment and determination throughout the season. Although disappointed that they couldn't contest the semi-final, he was quick to commend the players for their efforts in the tournament.
"I've seen how much heart and effort the boys have put into every game this season. It's frustrating to exit like this, but the team has shown great potential. I'm sure next season will be even better," said Ishant.
Purani Dilli 6 had a remarkable run in the DPL, bouncing back from tough losses in early matches to secure consecutive victories that led them to the semi-finals. The team displayed grit and determination throughout their campaign.
