Rishi Sunak faces Sam Curran, Chris Jordan's bowling - Watch

By MyKhel Staff

A video of Rishi Sunak, the UK Prime Minister, facing the bowling of Sam Curran and Chris Jordan has gone viral on social media.

In the video, the 42-year-old - the first Indian-origin PM of UK, can be seen coming down the ground to hit the ball straight past the bowler at his official residence at 10 Downing straight.

Star all-rounder Sam Curran takes the ball in his hand but bowls spin instead of his usual left-arm medium pacer. The 24-year-old beats Rishi with spin on the grass surface.

Later, pacer Chris Jordan also takes the opportunity to roll his arms. The UK PM this time edges the bowl to the wicket-keeper. Rishi can also be seen trapping a batter in front of the stumps.

England white-ball captain Jos Buttler also took to Twitter to share a few pictures from 10 Downing Street.

"It was a privilege to take the T20 World Cup to 10 Downing Street yesterday with a few of the lads!" Buttler wrote captioning the pictures. The likes of Curran, Jordan, Chris Woakes and Liam Livingstone can be seen posing in the picture alongside him.

England defeated Pakistan by five wickets in the final of T20 World Cup 2022 on November 13 last year.

The England stars will be soon seen featuring in the IPL 2023. Buttler - the Orange Cap winner of the IPL 2022 - will be seen playing again for Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Sam Curran was sold for a record price of Rs 18.50 to Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the IPL 2023 auction. Jofra Archer is fit and will be plying his trade for five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI). Moeen Ali is set to play under Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni.

Liam Livingstone is gearing to feature for the Punjab Kings (PBKS). Jonny Bairstow has been ruled out of the IPL 2023 after being denied an NOC from the ECB. He is currently in rehabilitation after undergoing surgery for a broken leg and dislocated ankle in October last year.
