Riyan Parag has been named the captain of Assam for their upcoming five-match One-Day series against Namibia, scheduled to begin on June 21 in Windhoek. Fresh off an impressive season with Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2025-where he amassed 393 runs at a strike rate of 166.53-Parag now transitions into a leadership role with his state side.
