Rohit Sharma showcased his destructive batting in the ongoing Test against Bangladesh on Monday (September 30).
The India captain came into bat with a destructive mindset and set the tone with another quickfire cameo. Rohit scored 23 off just 11 balls and scored 22 runs off that in boundaries.

Rohit hit one four and cleared the fence thrice as India needed a fast start to score rapidly. The India captain's template was followed by the others as they put 285 on the board in less than 35 overs before the declaration.
And during his batting, Rohit Sharma added his name as only the 3rd Indian player with a unique achievement. The India skipper has now become one of three players to hit a six in the first two balls of a Test innings.
The 37-year-old achieved the feat which has been matched by two more Indians, the great Sachin Tendulkar in 2013, and surprisingly the other name is Umesh Yadav, who smashed one out of the ground in 2019 within the first two balls.
Rohit Sharma now has 87 sixes in Test cricket, which means he is just five sixes away from becoming the Indian player with the most maximums in Test cricket. Virender Sehwag currently holds the record of most sixes by an India with 91 to his name.
