The Indian opener Rohit Sharma is the most decorated captains in the Indian Premier League, having led the Mumbai Indians to the much coveted title a record number of times so far.
Rohit, who won the IPL trophy as player for now defunct Deccan Chargers, has led MI to five title wins in IPL, winning five of five finals as captain of a team, making him the only player to win the cash-rich IPL six times.

The current India captain has led the Mumbai Indians to the IPL title in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020. In 2009, under the leadership of Adam Gilchrist, Rohit lifted the title at Deccan Chargers.
