Rohit Sharma was completely engrossed in the thoughts of winning the T20 World Cup, as the emotional Indian captain celebrated unfiltered after India's triumph over South Africa.
The India captain led the team to a monumental win as India ended their wait for World Cup glory, thus redeeming the 50-over World Cup heartbreak last year.

As the last ball was bowled, Rohit was floored to the ground and was seen tapping the deck at the Kensington Oval in joy. There were tears in his eyes as the 37-year-old got the elusive win as an India captain.
And after the victory, the India captain was captured eating a piece of grass from the Barbados pitch. In a video released by ICC, the India captain can be seen taking a peck of grass from the pitch in his mouth.
The gesture, although unhygienic, is induced by the deep attachment and determination which kept the Indian captain driving. It was huge perseverance, hard work and resilience from the Indian captain and his team which won them the World Cup. And after accomplishing the mission, Rohit had to tribute the soil.
With the victory, India has now two T20 World Cup titles, equal with West Indies and England. Rohit, who played in all 9 editions of the T20 World Cup, also announced his retirement from the format after leading the team to glory. The Indian captain confirmed that winning the World Cup was his only dream and he bid the shortest format goodbye after a sumptuous swansong.
