Rohit Sharma reclaimed top spot in the list of batters to hit most T20I hundreds during the third and final T20I against Afghanistan at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday, January 17.
Rohit Sharma hit his fifth T20I hundred and first after November 2018 to go past Suryakumar Yadav and Glenn Maxwell's tally of four hundreds each. He got to the three-figure mark in just 64 deliveries after India were reduced to 22/4 in 4.3 overs.

Rohit Sharma returned to T20I cricket after a gap of 14 months with the series but got out for ducks in the first and second T20I. However, he compensated with a brilliant 121 unbeaten runs off 69 balls in the third match. It's the fourth-highest T20I score by an Indian batter in T20I cricket.
The innings from the 36-year-old consisted of 11 fours and eight sixes. Rohit's strike rate was a whopping 175.36. He got the milestone with a six, four and four off the second, third and fourth delivery of the 19th over from Azmatullah Omarzai.
The opener then hit a four on the first ball of the 19th over from Karim Janat and followed that with two back-to-back sixes.
The unbeaten 190-run partnership between Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh is the highest for any wicket for India in T20Is.
India finished their innings at 212/4 - the highest total by any side after being four down for 25 or less in T20I cricket.
Rohit Sharma is now just 26 runs short of becoming only the second batter after Rohit Sharma to score 4000 T20I runs.
