India stalwart Rohit Sharma is set to make his much-anticipated return to the Ranji Trophy after nearly ten years.
Rohit, who last played in the tournament in 2015 against Uttar Pradesh, will represent Mumbai in their penultimate group-stage match against Jammu and Kashmir. The game is scheduled to take place from January 23 to January 26 at the BKC Ground in Mumbai.

Rohit confirmed his availability during a press conference at the Wankhede Stadium, explaining his prolonged absence from domestic cricket. The star batter cited his packed international commitments across all three formats as the reason for not featuring in the Ranji Trophy over the years.
"In the last 6-7 years, if you go back and look at our calendar, there hasn't been a time when we were sitting at home for 45 days while domestic cricket was going on," Rohit said recently.
Ajinkya Rahane will lead the Mumbai side which takes on J&K in the next match. Mumbai are placed 3rd in Group A and the match will be crucial for their knockout prospects. Rohit's return to the domestic circuit comes after a challenging few months in Test cricket.
