Rohit Sharma's black and white picture with six other teammates goes viral after 2-0 win vs Bangladesh

Rohit Sharma's stunning black and white picture uploaded on his social media handles after India's thumping 2-0 win over Bangladesh on Tuesday, October 1 went viral.

In a Test match which witnessed just 35 overs of play in the first three days due to rain and poor ground condition at Kanpur's Green Park, India played an aggressive brand of cricket to wrap up a seven-wicket win in the second session of Day 5.

India declared at 286/9 in 34.4 overs in reply to Bangladesh's 233 in the first innings, and then bundled out the visitors for 146 in the second innings. They chased down a 95-run target in 17.2 overs to get 12 crucial WTC points to consolidate their position at the top.

Captain Rohit Sharma, ecstatic after his team's stunning win, posted an equally stunning black and white picture after the Test series win. The picture also features his teammates Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Akash Deep, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj. Have a look.

The picture went viral and received over two million likes on Instagram in 12 hours. On X (formerly Twitter), the picture received over one lakh likes and ten thousand shares in the same duration.

The Test regulars of the Indian cricket team will now take a small break before turning out for a three-match Test series at home against New Zealand starting October 16 in Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav-led India's T20I team will lock horns with Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series which will kick off on October 6 in Gwalior. The likes of Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya, Riyan Parag and Mayank Yadav will be in action.
