Rohit Sharma was trolled during an Australian podcast show that featured former cricketers Adam Gilchrist and Michael Vaughan with one of the panelists labelling the Indian skipper's PR team as the 'best team of the summer'.
Club Prairie hosted the Grade Cricketer in their season finale on Friday (January 17) with former Aussie Gilchrist and former England skipper Vaughan, who are regulars on the podcast, also making an appearance as all the panelists rated the summer of cricket, featuring the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

When the podcast host asked who was the best team of the summer which could be any team, one of the guests picked the Seven commentary team, while Ian Higgins of the Grade Cricketer didn't hold back and simply labelled "Rohit's PR team as the best team of the summer".
"It's probably Rohit's PR team," said Higgins, to which most of the panelists agreed as he continued to elaborate why that was his choice saying, "Came in late, missed a Test match, had a rest for the last Test match. Not dropped, still wants to play, there's no rift in the dressing room."
Rohit had missed the first Test in Perth as he opted to stay back at home following the birth of his second child. Once he linked up with the team Down Under, Rohit reclaimed the captaincy role for Jasprit Bumrah, but failed to deliver both as a captain and batter.
The Indian skipper, who came into the tour on poor form from the New Zealand white wash, had a nightmare series in Australia, managing only 31 runs across five innings at a mediocre average of 6.20. During this run, India lost two matches and escaped with a draw in another.
The 37-year-old later did not feature in the fifth and final Test of the BGT with speculation about his furure in the longest format picking up pace. After Bumrah led the team in Sydney, Rohit had clarified that he is still not planning on retirement as many called for him to bid aideu to the red ball game.
