Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have announced their retention and released list ahead of the IPL 2026 auction, which headlines the departure of English all-rounder Liam Livingstone.
RCB had a blockbuster IPL 2025 campaign, culminating in winning their maiden IPL title after 18 years. Led by captain Rajat Patidar and spearheaded by the experienced Virat Kohli, who scored 614 runs, RCB showcased strong performances throughout the season.

The team made history by winning all seven of their away matches and displayed solid all-round efforts in crucial games. Notable contributions came from Philip Salt and Krunal Pandya, while their bowling unit stepped up at key moments. RCB's consistent run in the league stage and clutch performance in the playoffs, including a thrilling victory against Punjab Kings in the final, marked a breakthrough season for the franchise.
