R Pinto belts ton, helps Goa win by one wicket

Perinthalmanna (Kerala), Feb 17 (PTI) A scintillatingunbeaten 119 by Regan Pinto (124b, 10x4,1x6) helped Goa defeatAndhra by one wicket in the P Subbaiah Pillai crickettournament here today.

Put into bat Andhra were all ot for 241 in 49.4 overs.

India batsman Venugopala Rao was the top scorer with 82 in 98deliveries (12x4, 1x6), while B Sumanth made a useful 58 in 83balls with the help of six boundaries.

Harshad Gadekar (4/67) and and S Jakatti (3/50) capturedwere the main wicket takers for Goa.

In reply, Pinto came to Goa''s rescue with his brilliantknock. Amit Yadav contributed a useful 31 which came in 44deliveries and consisted a boundary.
