IPL 2025 Schedule: Inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals (RR) kick start their Indian Premier League Season 18 - IPL 2025 campaign away to last season’s runners up Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday, March 23.
Sanju Samson’s RR, who aim for their second IPL title, have been drawn in the same group as Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), meaning the Royals will face these teams and a team parallelly seeded from the other group twice in the league phase.

Due to the group seeding, RR will lock horns with 2022 champions Gujarat Titans (GT) from the opposite group also twice, and the remaining teams – SRH, Mumbai Indians (MI), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Delhi Capitals (DC), once in the round-robin stage.
After travelling away for their opening fixture, RR will next play their first home game in their adopted city of Guwahati at the Barsapara Stadium, where they will host KKR and CSK before they return to their traditional home – Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
RR will host the likes of RCB, LSG, GT, MI and PBKS in their other five home matches in the pink city, while they also travel to Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Chennai for their remaining away matches.
RR will boast a new-look bowling attack led by Jofra Archer, to link up with a solid batting top order featuring Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag and Nitish Rana. Sri Lanka spin twins will also be key for the Royals this season.
The Royals, who will be playing for the first time without Jos Buttler at the top of the order, will play 11 night matches, and the Samson-led side will also be ready for three early starts. Here is a look at RR IPL 2025 Schedule:
