Saba Karim said Vaibhav Sooryavanshi continued from last season. He called it a dominating show of aggressive batting. Sooryavanshi batted with a strike rate above 250. Karim said the youngster showed maturity, picking the right balls. He felt Sooryavanshi now bats with more wisdom and clear intent.

Fearless batting against four varied bowlers

Karim highlighted Sooryavanshi’s intent to clear the boundary. He said that intent stayed the same against pace and spin. Sanjay Bangar added that Sooryavanshi dominated a strong attack. He went after Matt Henry, Khaleel Ahmed, Anshul Kamboj, and mystery spinner Noor Ahmad with fearless strokes at age 15.

Bangar said Sooryavanshi forced Henry to bowl slower balls. He said Khaleel tried different plans under pressure. Kamboj, known for hard lengths, also struggled. Noor Ahmad found life hard as well. Bangar said the youngster entered established bowlers’ minds and called him a “wonder boy”.

Saba Karim described Nandre Burger as rapid and accurate. He said Burger produced a special ball to dismiss Sanju Samson. Karim noted a sharp bouncer that surprised Ayush Mhatre. He said left-arm pacers like Burger thrive with such balls. On a pace-friendly Guwahati pitch, good length worked well.

Archer and Burger trouble CSK openers

Sanjay Bangar said Nandre Burger and Jofra Archer bowled well together. He said they challenged CSK openers Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad. Both bowlers gained movement from the surface. Their left-arm and right-arm angles caused trouble. Early wickets of Samson and Gaikwad gave the Rajasthan Royals strong control.
