Rajasthan Royals are set to play their traditional 'Pink Promise' match of the IPL 2026 season, as it was announced by the franchise on Wednesday (May 6).

As per the announcement, they are wearing the Pink Jersey in the IPL 2026 match on Saturday against Gujarat Titans.

What is Pink Promise?

Pink Promise is Rajasthan Royals’ flagship social initiative led by the Royal Rajasthan Foundation (RRF). It is a long-term commitment to women-led transformation that uses the power of cricket to create measurable, sustainable impact in communities.

Built on the belief “Aurat Hai Toh Bharat Hai” (If the woman thrives, India thrives), the programme empowers women through skill development, training, and livelihood opportunities — especially in solar energy installation, maintenance, and community leadership.

Through skill development, solar energy training, and livelihood opportunities, Pink Promise empowers grassroots women as solar engineers and community leaders. Since its inception, it has solar-electrified nearly 1,000 homes, created farm ponds, planted trees, and impacted millions of lives.

Every year, this culminates in the Pink Promise Match, where RR dons their iconic all-pink jersey. The pink colour symbolises women's empowerment, solidarity, and the fight for equality while also nodding to traditional cancer awareness roots from earlier campaigns. This Season’s Special Pink Jersey

The 2026 Pink Promise jersey was designed through the Royals HunaRR Manch – Season 2: Rajasthan Royals Pink Promise Jersey Design Competition, which received over 8,500 entries from more than 700 designers across India.

The winning design was created by 19-year-old Samiksha Rameshwar Mundada from Nashik. It features a subtle ripple pattern symbolising how one woman’s empowerment creates waves of change across families and communities, along with solar-inspired elements and the names of women supported by RRF.

For every six hit in the match, RR promises to light up six more homes with solar power, turning cricket into a force for clean energy and sustainable impact. The Pink Promise beautifully blends on-field passion with off-field purpose.
