Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will look to respond from opening game defeats when they clash in match 6 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, Assam on Wednesday (March 26).
RR led by Riyan Parag suffered a 44-run defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their IPL 2025 campaign opener at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, where several batting records were shattered.

In their season opener, RR managed to post 242 in response to the 287 target set by SRH. The Royals will continue to miss the on field decision-making of regular skipper Sanju Samson, who is expected to be used as a specialist batter and an Impact Substitute.
KKR, on the other hand, started their era under new captain Ajinkya Rahane with a 7-wicket loss at home against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Opening the tournament, the defending champions failed to defend 174 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
