Rajasthan Royals will be up against Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2025 on Thursday (May 1) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The match will serve as the Pink Promise Match of IPL 2025 - a hallmark event celebrating the franchise's commitment to women-led transformation in rural Rajasthan.

More than just a cricket match, the Pink Promise initiative exemplifies how sport can serve as a catalyst for sustainable social change.
For this marquee occasion, the Royals will wear a special all-pink jersey, symbolizing solidarity with women changemakers across Rajasthan. The pink kit is not merely a stylistic departure from the norm but a statement of intent - to amplify voices that are often unheard and support grassroots transformation led by women.
The impact of the match goes far beyond the stadium. As part of the Pink Promise initiative, every six hit during the match will light up six rural homes in the Sambhar region using solar energy. This solar electrification drive is both symbolic and tangible.
Rajasthan Royals have also committed to donating Rs 100 from every ticket sold for the Mumbai Indians game to fund women-led development projects in the state. Furthermore, proceeds from the Pink Promise jersey sales will directly support the work of the Royal Rajasthan Foundation (RRF) - the franchise's social equity arm.
The 2024 edition of the campaign saw 260 homes illuminated through solar installations, all spearheaded by four women trained by RRF. These women were not only responsible for installing the solar infrastructure but also took charge of on-ground implementation, regular maintenance, and even repairs.
The Royals secured a crucial win over Gujarat Titans in the last match as young southpaw Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a century for them. As they face the Paltans, the onus will be on the home side to continue their rejuvenation on the tournamnet.
