RR vs PBKS: Rajasthan Royals (RR) will lock horns with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Match 65 of IPL 2024. The game will kick off at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on May 15, Wednesday at 7:30 PM (IST).

The Royals have officially become the second team to make it to the IPL 2024 playoffs after KKR. RR qualified after DC beat LSG by 19 runs in their last home game of the season in Delhi. Sanju Samson and Co. will be eyeing a top two finish.

On the contrary, PBKS who are placed at the bottom of the points table were already eliminated from the playoffs race. 1. Yashasvi Jaiswal: Jaiswal is expected to flex his muscles against the Mohali-based franchise on a batting friendly surface. 2. Jonny Bairstow: Bairstow struggled to produce the much-needed spark for PBKS this season. The right-handed batter managed to score 284 runs in 10 games including a century to his name. He scored 15 off 19 against RR in the reverse fixture and will be hoping to make the amends this time around.

3. Shimron Hetmyer: The Caribbean pitched in with a pivotal contribution to the Royals in the reverse fixture against PBKS in Chandigarh. When the Royals were under relentless pressure in the run-chase, he scored an unbeaten 27 off 10 balls including a four and 3 sixes to guide the team to a memorable win with a ball to spare.

4. Shashank Singh: It is no secret that Shashank has single-handedly guided the team to victories with his hard-hitting abilities. He is one of the players to watch out for in the upcoming game. The right-hander has scored 352 runs in 12 games at an average of 58.67 and a strike rate of 168.42 including two fifties.
