Rajasthan Royals host Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 60 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on double-header Sunday (May 14) with the match set to start at 3:30 PM IST.

Sanju Samson's RR head into the match on the back of their sixth win of the season, while RCB, who will be led by Faf Du Plessis, are fresh from their sixth defeat of the campaign. RR has won 6 of 12, whereas RCB has won 5 of 11 matches so far.

The two sides clashed in Bengaluru earlier this season, and it was the hosts RCB, who emerged victorious by 7 runs against the inuagural champions at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 23.

Now, the two sides will clash at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, which will host it's fifth and final match of the season. RR has lost three and won only one match at their primary home venue so far.

The Royals suffered a 10-run loss to Lucknow Super Giants in the opener, but bounced back with 32-run win over Chennai Super Kings before suffering a 9-wicket loss to Gujarat Titans followed by a 4-wicket loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad.

A sunny day that is expected to stay clear throughout the day with a maximum temperature of 41^o C reducing to 38^o C. There is no chance of rain. So, weather is unlikely to play spoilsport when Rajasthan Royals host Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Sawai Mansingh Stadium Pitch Report

The Sawai Mansingh Stadium has been known produce some competitive wickets in the IPL, but not many matches have been high-scoring at the venue with the average score batting first in IPL being 159. Dew also is a factor in the second part of the match.

The IPL record at the venue shows that teams batting second have had the most success, but the recent games, including RR's defeat to LSG and CSK's loss to the Royals, has seen teams defend win the match. However, RR's defeats to GT and SRH saw the team chase win the match.

In the season opener, RR restricted LSG to 154, but could only reach 144 in response. In the second match at the venue, RR bounced back with a 32-run victory over CSK thanks to Yashasvi Jaiswal's fifty.

In the third match, GT spinners Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad bundled out RR to 118, while batters Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya helped chase down the target with ease. In the fourth and most recent match, RR failed to defend a huge total of 215 as they lost the match in the final over.
