RR vs RCB IPL 2024 Eliminator: Sanu Samson's Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Faf du Plessis' Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RR) will go against each in the Eliminator of IPL 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, May 22.

Rajasthan Royals had to settle with a shared point in their last league match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) due to incessant rain in Guwahati. Like Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), they finished with 17 points but fell behind them due to an inferior Net Run Rate (NRR).

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), on the other hand, finished at fourth spot after beating CSK by 27 runs in their last league game. RCB had to beat CSK by 18 runs at least to pip their NRR and qualify for the final four.

The two sides met each other earlier this season on April 6. In the match, RR defeated RCB by six wickets. The winner of the IPL 2024 Eliminator will play in Qualifier 2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad, who lost Qualifier 1 by eight wicket against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Tuesday.

In the match, SRH won the toss and opted to bat first. They got bundled out for 159 in 19.3 overs after KKR pacers picked six wickets, and spinners chipped in with three scalps. KKR chased down the target in just 13.4 overs for the loss of two wickets. Both the wickets were taken by the pacers.
