RR vs RCB: Rajasthan Royals (RR) will cross swords with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Eliminator of IPL 2024. The marquee clash will get underway at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 22, Wednesday at 7:30 PM (IST).

The winner of this clash will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Qualifier 2 on May 24, Friday at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Sanju Samson and Co. kick-started their campaign on a strong note and were piling up wins in the first half of the season.

Predicting top four run scorers in RR vs RCB IPL 2024 Eliminator

However, their performance deteriorated in the second half of the season before they eventually qualified for the playoffs by finishing third.

On the contrary, RCB failed to produce the spark in the first half of the season but they sorted out the woes before it was too late. They knocked their rivals CSK out of the competition in the knockout game and qualified for the playoffs.

RCB finished fourth on the points table. RCB and RR locked horns with each other only once in the group stage, with the Royals getting the better of RCB by six wickets. Let's take a look at the four batters who can score the most runs in Eliminator.

1. Yashasvi Jaiswal: RR's opening batter Jaiswal ran through ups and downs in the ongoing season. He was far from being impressive this season as he mustered 348 runs in 13 appearances at a strike rate of 152.63 including a century and fifty. Jaiswal was dismissed for a duck in the reverse fixture against RCB. He will be hoping to score a chunk of runs in the must-win game.

2. Virat Kohli: Former RCB captain Kohli has been in scintillating form this season. He is currently the leading run-scorer of this season's IPL with 708 runs in 14 matches at an average of 64.36 and a strike rate of 155.60 including 1 century and 5 fifties. Kohli scored an unbeaten 113 off 72 (12 fours, 4 sixes) against RR in the group stage.

3. Sanju Samson: We expect the captain Samson to turn up the ante in the crucial fixture against RCB. He has by far ticked the boxes as a batsman and captain this season and he will be hoping to continue to do the same. Samson scored 69 off 42 including 8 fours and 2 sixes against RCB in the group stage. He amassed 504 runs including 5 fifties this season.

4. Cameron Green: The Australian all-rounder knows a thing or two about performing well in clutch games. In the must-win game against CSK, he scored an unbeaten 38 off 17 balls (3 fours and 3 sixes) at a strike rate of 223.53. We expect him to deliver the goods in the Eliminator against RR.
