Rajasthan Royals will be up against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Match 19 of the IPL 2024 on Saturday (April 6).

The two teams lock horns at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The Royals are flying high with three wins in their first three matches. There is a lot of work to do for RCB though, who find themselves struggling at 8th with just two points in their first four matches.

RR vs RCB: Bowling Squad Comparison

Rajasthan Royals have a strong bowling squad with a blend of pacers and spinners in the team. Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma and Avesh Khan have been their regular pace trio whereas Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin have emerged as their key members in the spin department. South African pacer Nandre Burger has emerged as a key part of the bowling unit as well.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have lacked in their bowling big time yet again this season. They have Mohammed Siraj, Yash Dayal and Vijaykumar Vyshak in their pace department, but the spin unit is lacking with just Mayank Dagar and Karn Sharma in it. But it is Glenn Maxwell who has emerged as their best bowler in this IPL so far.

Vijaykumar Vyshak (RCB): It was baffling that Vyshak didn't play their last match against Lucknow Super Giants. The left-arm pacer's solitary outing against KKR was indicative of his superiority compared to all other RCB bowlers. Hence if he plays against RR on Saturday, the 27-year-old can be amongst wickets and emerge as a key performer.

Mohammed Siraj (RCB): Mohammed Siraj hasn't been at his best in this IPL. With just three wickets in 4 matches, Siraj has failed to provide the early breakthrough for RCB so far. The Indian pacer will be expected to come up with the goods in the coming matches and the RR encounter can be the beginning of it.

Trent Boult (RR): Trent Boult's exemplary bowling has been a key weapon for Rajasthan Royals. The New Zealand pacer has showcased his prowess in the early overs with wickets and most of them has given their opponents an early jolt within the powerplay. With 5 wickets in three matches, Boult is expected to continue his merry way against RCB as well.

Yuzvendra Chahal (RR): Yuzvendra Chahal has been another top-notch player for the Royals this season. The leg-spinner has already picked up six wickets in three matches and is looking in excellent touch at the moment. He will be up against his old team as well and will be hopefully looking to cause further misery to his old employers.
