RR vs RCB, IPL 2025: Virat Kohli Shares Fun Moment With Former India Coach Rahul Dravid - Watch

By MyKhel Staff

Star India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli shared a fun moment with former Indian head coach and captain Rahul Dravid and former batting coach Vikram Rathour on the eve of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash in Jaipur.

Rajasthan Royals will host RCB at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday (April 13). This will be RR's first game at their primary home venue. RR sit in the seventh spot, with two wins and three losses in five games, while RCB occupy fifth spot with three wins and two defeats in five outings.

Virat Kohli meets Rahul Dravid

Dravid and Rathour joined the Royals support staff ahead of the season, and before the encounter with RCB, the duo reunited with Kohli. RR took to their official X handle and posted a video of Virat meeting Dravid, who is sitting on a wheelchair due to an injury.

"Whether you're a young one or number 18, pehle toh Rahul bhai se hi milna hai," posted RR's official X handle. RR also posted a video of Virat having fun with former Indian batting coach Vikram Rathour. "Kuch yaad aaya?," posted the RR's official X handle.

In the video clips shared by RR, Kohli can be seen sharing a chat with Sanju Samson and Rahul Dravid. The star India batter then shared a fun moment with Rathour.

Notably, Dravid is currently the head coach of Rajasthan Royals, while Rathour, who also played six Tests for India and recently served as a batting coach, later joined the former India captain in the RR backroom and works in the same role at the IPL franchise.

Dravid and Rathour served together for the Indian team from 2022, and during their reign as India's coaches from 2022-24, the duo oversaw the national team end a long wait for an ICC trophy as Rohit Sharma and Co won the T20 World Cup 2024 in Barbados.
