Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad both have things to make right as they meet at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Sunday (May 7) in a very significant IPL 2023 match.
Royals fell to their second successive defeat as Gujarat Titans mauled them in Jaipur, and need a swift response to get themselves back on track. SRH also saw themselves losing a match from a winning situation against KKR and now need to win all of their remaining games to make it to the playoffs.

RR Team News vs SRH: Rajasthan Royals were disappointing in their last game. GT mauled them at home and it was a self-inflictive performance from them. With silly run-outs, players choosing awful shots - they need to rectify those mistakes soon.
They may make a couple of changes to their team for the SRH match. With SRH's inconsistent batting lineup, Royals can bring in an extra batter in Joe Root. They would also need to axe Riyan Parag from the team completely. The Assam player is having a dismal run and it's due time they find someone else for that extra batting cushion.
SRH Team News vs RR: Sunrisers Hyderabad are in dire straits as well. They lost their match against KKR out of nowhere, which is an alarming thing. SRH are desperate for a victory against RR, against whom they lost in the very first match of this season.
They need changes as well. Harry Brook has had a dismal run this season and he may get replaced as Glenn Phillips can come in. Abdul Samad can also make way for Vivrant Sharma, who had a decent domestic season. Umran Malik can also be recalled into the team as his pace can rattle the RR players and cause significant problems.
