Bengaluru, February 17: The All-India Women's Selection Committee has named Rumeli Dhar as the replacement for injured Jhulan Goswami.
Dhar will join the Indian women's team for the remaining three T20Is against South Africa women in place of Jhulan Goswami.
Goswami had suffered an injury to her heel ahead of the first T20I.
On Friday, India women registered a nine-wicket win in the second match and now lead the T20I series 2-0.
The BCCI medical team in consultation with a local doctor felt that she needs rest for a couple of weeks to avoid any further impact on the bone.
Upon her return, Goswami will consult a foot expert and will undergo her rehab process at the NCA in Bengaluru.
Goswami had recently completed 200 wickets, the first woman to do so, in the ODIs and played a good role in India's 2-1 series win over South Africa.
