Sanju Samson created a unique record, becoming the first in the history of T20I cricket, after his dismissal in the 3rd T20I against South Africa.
The India batter got dismissed for another duck in Centurion, this time lasting for just two deliveries.

Samson started the T20I series against South Africa in a sublime fashion. He scored a century in the first match, thus becoming first Indian to score consecutive T20I centuries. But after that magnificent 107, Samson has scored consecutive ducks as well.
Sanju Samson has now become the first batter in T20I cricket's history to score two centuries and then get dismissed for two ducks. His consecutive ducks mean the India batter now has five ducks in 2024, the most by an Indian in a calendar year.
The Kerala batter celebrated his 30th birthday on Monday (November 11), but the turn of a decade hasn't bore good fortunes for him. Samson now has 6 ducks in his T20I career, which is the third most by an Indian batter, following Rohit Sharma (12) and Virat Kohli (7).

Samson has shown his class in the recent past and will be aiming to return to his scoring form in the final match of the series. The India batter recently revealed the freedom Suryakumar Yadav gave him as the India T20I captain ensured him seven opportunities at the top of the order.
Samson has so far scored 257 runs in six of those matches, at an average of almost 43 and an excellent strike rate of over 180.
