Tilak Varma has become the latest Indian player to score a T20I century as he played a sublime knock at the Supersport Park in Centurion.
The southpaw came into bat at a tricky stage for India and played a scintillating knock against South Africa.

Tilak Varma came to the crease with India rooted at 0 for 1 as Sanju Samson got dismissed for another duck. Varma took control of the proceeding from the start and looked in ominous touch from the get-go.
The southpaw played some brilliant shots and stitched a 107-run partnership with Abhishek Sharma. After Sharma's dismissal, Tilak continued his onslaught. Although his partners Suryakumar Yadav (1 off 4), Hardik Pandya (18 off 16) struggled, the 22-year-old looked at his own destructive zone.
Varma's century came in 51 balls, and he helped India post a mammoth total of 219 runs. He ended up with an unbeaten 107 runs off just 56 deliveries, hitting 8 fours and 7 sixes in the process.
Tilak Varma has now become the 12th Indian player to score a T20I century, and the third Indian to score one in South Africa.
India captain Rohit Sharma has scored the most T20I hundreds for India with 5, while Tilak joins eight India batters who have managed a solitary three-figure score in the format.
