Cricket South Africa's T20 League returns for the third season as SA20 2025 is all set to get underway from Thursday (January 9) with two-time defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape hosting MI Cape Town at St George's Park in Gqeberha.
SA20 2025 will see six teams do battle for the coveted title over the next month with the tournament starting with the league phase that will feature 30 matches followed by the playoff round that will include four matches - the two qualifiers, eliminator and the final.

Home venues of all six teams will host matches this season as some new faces make their appearance in the league for the first time in the form of former Indian wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik as well as two of the big four of the mordern day - New Zealand's Kane Williamson and England's Joe Root.
