The second season of SA20, a T20 tournament organized by Cricket South Africa (CSA), has reached the climax stage as we head into the playoffs round, which is scheduled to take place next week across two venues.

Unlike last season when there was a traditional semi-final and final knockout format, season 2 sees a change as SA20 follow the IPL playoff format of four matches to crown the champion.

In the SA20 playoff, the top two teams on the SA20 points table after the league stage will meet in the first qualifier, with the winner directly earning a spot in the final, while it's not the end of road for the loser of Qualifier 1.

The losing team from the first qualifier will enter the second qualifier, where they will face the winner of the Eliminator, which will be contested by the third and fourth placed teams. The winner from Qualifier 2 will face the winner from Qualifier 1 in the SA20 final.
